CONSEQUENTLY TRANSPARENT: WASCHB\u00c4R AND REMEI STAND FOR RESPONSIBILITY IN THE TEXTILE INDUSTRY <\/h5>

In the textile sector, procurement channels and processing steps are complex and, instead of supply chains, often resemble widely ramified networks in which human rights and environmental protection can easily fall through the cracks. Waschb\u00e4r believes this should not be the case and has entered into a new partnership with Remei:\u00a0 At Remei, maximum transparency along the supply chain has been part of the company DNA for many years.

“Through the cooperation with Remei, we are now creating even more transparency in addition to our voluntary declaration. Remei is exemplary in its commitment to environmental protection and fairness along its entire supply chain and communicates this in a way that everyone can understand,”<\/em> says Barbara Engel, Waschb\u00e4r’s sustainability manager.

Through its cooperation with Remei, Waschb\u00e4r is committed to further promoting systemic change in the textile industry, which places greater focus on human rights and environmental protection.
The first Remei textiles made of interlock jersey for women have been available in the Waschb\u00e4r online shop<\/a> since February 2022. Further articles will be added successively.
