THERE IS NO PLANET B. The Swiss company Remei AG has achieved what the textile industry has been trying to do for years \u2013 the first industrial production for brands and retailers according to detox criteria. Clean. Organic. Fair.
<\/strong>
It is possible to implement the detox criteria on an industrial scale across the entire value chain \u2013 Remei AG has now demonstrated this on behalf of Greenpeace Media, a subsidiary of Greenpeace Germany. Since the start of Greenpeace\u2019s \u201cDetox my Fashion\u201d campaign in 2011, Greenpeace and the Swiss pioneer for organic cotton textiles, Remei AG, are now showing for the first time with the Greenpeace collection how detoxified production can be realised on an industrial scale.

\u201cTo develop effective solutions for a sustainable textile chain together with our production partners is what we see as our task. The Greenpeace collection is the best example of this. Our goal is the continuous improvement of conditions and processes \u2013 from our organic cotton to the finished textile. We are very proud and extremely pleased that the textiles we have developed and produced for Greenpeace Media under the bioRe\u00ae Sustainable Textiles quality label are now available to consumers,\u201d says Marion R\u00f6ttges, CO-CEO of Remei AG.<\/em>
Remei now offers brands and retailers the development and production of organic cotton textiles and collections that comply with the \u201cGreenpeace Global Textile Procurement Trial Standard\u201d. Thus, in the future, detox fashion can reach the specialized trade via dedicated brands and retailers. <\/p><\/p><\/div>
