Organic Cotton Buying Season is open in India.

With the Muhurat Trading ritual, we have just opened this year’s purchasing season at the Ginning Factory of Remei India Ltd. in Kasrawad.

From now on, the Indian contract farmers of Remei India Ltd. will bring the freshly harvested organic cotton that we use for the production of our traceable organic cotton textiles.

For the organic cotton farmers, for the Remei India Ltd. team and for us this is a very important momentum in the harvest year, when the fruits of the long work since sowing in May can be brought in.

With the purchase guarantee to the farmers, Remei ensures the contract farmers reliable market access for the organic cotton. By paying an additional premium above the market price, we can give the farmers a share of the added value and room for their own development.
