COOKIES

We use so-called “cookies” on our website, text files that are stored on your computer. This allows your computer to be identified during your visit to the website. You have the option to set your Internet browser to inform you about the occurrence of cookies, so that you can allow or exclude them, or delete existing cookies. In principle, our website can also be used without accepting cookies, although individual functionalities may then be restricted. Cookies do not allow a server to read private data from your computer or the data stored by another server.

WEB ANALYTICS

In order to get information about the use of our website, to improve our internet offer, we use the following tool:

Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, the web analytics service of Google LLC, Mountain View, California, USA, responsible for Europe is Google Limited Ireland (“Google”) on our websites. To disable Google Analytics, Google provides a browser plug-in at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en. Google Analytics uses “cookies”. These enable an analysis of the use of our website by Google. The information collected by the cookie about the use of our site (including your IP address) will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We would like to point out that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code “gat._anonymizeIp();” to ensure anonymized collection of IP addresses (so-called IP masking). If anonymization is active, Google truncates IP addresses within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area, which is why no conclusions can be drawn about your identity. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google may associate your IP address with other data held by Google. For data transfers to the USA, Google has undertaken to sign and comply with the EU standard contractual clauses.

OTHER THIRD-PARTY TOOLS

Google Maps
On our website we use Google Maps (API) from Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; responsible for Europe is Google Limited Ireland, “Google”). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (land) maps in order to visually present geographical information. Already when calling up those sub-pages in which the map of Google Maps is integrated, information about your use of our website is transmitted to Google servers in the USA and stored there. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account through which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly assigned to your account. If you do not want the assignment with your profile at Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. For data transfers to the USA, Google has undertaken to sign and comply with the EU standard contractual clauses.

YouTube
Our site uses the provider YouTube LLC , 901 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066, USA, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, for the integration of videos. Normally, when you call up a page with embedded videos, your IP address is already sent to YouTube and cookies are installed on your computer. However, we have not embedded the videos directly into the page, but first show only a preview image. This means that no data is forwarded to YouTube when a page with videos is loaded.
When you click on the video, your IP address is transmitted to YouTube and YouTube learns that you have viewed the video. If you are logged in to YouTube, this information is also assigned to your user account (you can prevent this by logging out of YouTube before viewing the video).
We have no knowledge of and no influence on the possible collection and use of your data by YouTube. You can find more information in YouTube’s privacy policy at www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/.

Fonts.com
Fonts.com is a service that provides access to font libraries.
Fonts.com is owned by Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc, a Delaware corporation with headquarters at 600 Unicorn Park Drive, Woburn, Massachusetts 01801 USA.
When fonts are loaded, the web font project identification number (anonymized) and the URL of the licensed website associated with our customer ID are used to help identify licensees and licensed web fonts.
The requesting IP address is not transmitted to third-party providers, only the anonymous IP 0.0.0.0, so no personal data of the website user is collected or processed.
For more information, please contact the provider at the following link: https://www.monotype.com/legal/privacy-policy/web-font-tracking-privacy-policy

Form data and newsletters – processing of personal data

Personal data will be collected only if you provide the data spontaneously, e.g. when subscribing to the newsletter or using a form on this website to transmit data.

Your personal data will be used exclusively for the purpose you choose to transmit them for. We will process your data only for commercial purposes required to process orders and to manage customer relationships.

At any point in time, you will be able to revoke the consent to distribution of the newsletter that you have given in the process of subscribing to the newsletter. To this end, you may, for instance, use the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the newsletter.

SOCIAL MEDIA PLUG-INS

We use the social plug-ins listed below on our website to make our company better known.
The responsibility for data protection-compliant operation is to be ensured by their respective providers. Data processing in connection with these plug-ins takes place with your consent when you use them.

If you use the services of these social networks independently of or in connection with our website, the social networks evaluate your use of the plug-in. In this case, information about the plug-in is forwarded to the social networks.

Facebook
Our website uses plug-ins from the social network Facebook, which is offered by Meta Platforms, Inc, 1601 Willow Road Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA. The Facebook plug-ins are marked with a Facebook logo or the addition “Like” or “Share”. An overview of the Facebook plug-ins and their appearance can be found at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins.
When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plug-in, your browser establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers. The content of the plug-in is transmitted by Facebook directly to your browser and integrated into the page.
Through this integration, Facebook receives the information that your browser has accessed the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a Facebook profile or are not currently logged in to Facebook. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a Facebook server in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to Facebook, Facebook can directly assign your visit to our website to your Facebook profile. If you interact with the plug-ins, e.g. press the “Like” button, this information is also transmitted directly to a Facebook server and stored there. The information is also published on your Facebook profile and displayed to your Facebook friends.
The purpose and scope of the data collection and the further processing and use of the data by Facebook, as well as your rights in this regard and setting options for protecting your privacy, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy: www.facebook.com/policy.php.

LinkedIn
Plug-ins of the social network LinkedIn Corporation, 1000 West Maude Avenue Sunnyvale, California 94085, USA, are installed on our website. You can recognize the LinkedIn plug-in (“LinkedIn Recommended” button) by the LinkedIn logo. When you call up a page of our website that contains such a plug-in, a direct connection is established between your browser and the LinkedIn server. LinkedIn thereby receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. If you click the LinkedIn button while you are logged into your LinkedIn account, you can link the content of our pages on your LinkedIn profile. This allows LinkedIn to associate the visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by LinkedIn. For more information, please visit: www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.

As a user, you have the right to request information free of charge about what personal data has been stored about you. You also have the right to have incorrect data corrected and to have your personal data processed restricted or deleted. If applicable, you may also exercise your right to data portability. If you believe that your data has been processed unlawfully, you may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

DATA SECURITY

We take all legal precautions to protect your personal data from loss, destruction, falsification, manipulation and unauthorized access. DATA DELETION

Unless your request conflicts with a legal obligation to retain data, you have a right to have your data deleted. Data stored by us will be deleted if it is no longer required for its intended purpose and there are no legal retention periods. If deletion cannot be carried out because the data is required for permissible legal purposes, data processing will be restricted.
