Right down to the roots! Field trip to our organic cotton farmers in Tanzania

It has always been our motivation to bring the textile experts together with THE OTHER EXPERTS: Remei’s contract farmers who grow organic cotton.
 
The Japanese group of Remei’s cooperation partner Panoco Trading and cooperating Japanese brands visited Remei Tanzania Ltd. this week, where this year’s organic cotton harvest is currently being brought in and purchased.

Meeting with the farmers who grow the cotton is not only a fundamental step within full supply chain transparency, but above all helps everyone involved to get to know each other and better understand the local impact.
 
This creates relationships that are essential to produce good textile products.
