purchase guarantee and premium

By means of its purchase guarantee for farmers, Remei takes on the risk of market access for organic cotton.

We pay a 15% premium to farmers for their efforts in organic production. The premium is based on the average market price for cotton over the past five years. Remei’s premium payment provides the farmers with room for development.

Remei considers living incomes in farming and living wages in industry to be essential aspects of fair terms in textile production, and applies social standards across the entire supply chain.

It is important to us to build up relationships with our production partners. Combined with regular exchanges, this enables us to continuously improve our processes and develop our textile production in a sustainable manner.
