ginning

Raw cotton is separated and processed into fibres in the two ginning plants of Remei India Ltd. and Bibiti Ginneries in Tanzania. The end products of the process are bales of raw cotton and the seeds.

Both ginning plants are certified for organic farming in agreement with EU Regulation 834/2007 and audited under the bioRe^® Sustainable Cotton Standard. Compliance with ecological and social standards is subject to strict monitoring.
