It is a changemaker for all production partners involved in Remei’s transparent supply chain for traceable organic cotton textiles.

Since 1994, Remei Tanzania is cooperating with about 2200 independent registered organic cotton farmers from more than 30 villages in the Simiyu region.

It is a matter of the heart for us to maintain and expand organic cotton cultivation and to envisage regenerative systems.

Here in Africa as well as in India, we work directly with the farmers without middlemen.
Farmers are the starting point of our supply chain for traceable organic textiles.

We give them a five-year purchase guarantee for organic cotton, an additional premium payment on top of the local market price, and regular training. In other words, commitment. 

We believe in equitable terms and fair cooperation.

In many cases, partnerships have existed for decades.

Sharing knowledge is key in partnerships.

Starting with farmers, we develop a complete and transparent supply chain with industrial partners.
It is at heart of our philosophy of “all-holder value”, in order to drive systemic change.
