Remei Tanzania Ltd. expands its advisory services on organic farming topics in the African continent

Remei Tanzania Co-CEO Marco Paul was able to share his extensive knowledge on organic farming, seed management, organic weed control methods and integrated pest management solutions as a speaker at the 15th meeting of the Southern and Eastern African Cotton Forum (SEACF), as well as talk about Remei’s long-standing and in-depth expertise in working with organic farmers at the starting point of an integrated and transparent textile supply chain for organic cotton textiles.

The aim of the conference in Maputo, jointly organised by the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC) and the Mozambican Institute of Cotton and Oilseeds (IAOM) and attended by speakers from Africa, Asia, South America and Europe, was to introduce organic cotton farming in Zimbabwe and Mozambique.

Remei Tanzania Ltd was founded in 1994 as one of the first organic cotton production companies in Africa. In offering advisory services, Remei Tanzania Ltd follows the approach of its sister company Remei India Ltd. Since 2020 Remei Group has continuously developed and expanded its advisory services in organic farming, in its collaboration with organic cotton farmers based on fair trading principles and in integrated supply chain development.
