“With naturaline, Coop is the world’s second largest supplier of biologically and fairly produced cotton textiles. Thanks to our partnership with Remei, we can guarantee that the raw material in our textiles comes from trustworthy sources from small farmers in India and Tanzania and is traded fairly. Through our partnership with the bioRe Foundation, we support the promotion of organic cotton cultivation and are committed to improving the living conditions of smallholder farmers through concrete projects. Our CO2 compensation project also directly benefits farmer families through the construction of biogas plants and efficient wood-burning stoves.“
 
Sustainability is part of Coop’s DNA. Since 1991, we have been a pioneer in promoting organic farming and offering our customers the widest possible range of organic products in Switzerland. In 1995, we added textiles made of organic cotton, which are produced in a fair and environmentally friendly way, to our range with our own brand naturaline. In close partnership with Remei and the bioRe Foundation, we have set an important course for fair organic cotton textiles.
 
Even today, we are convinced by the quality of the textiles, the highest ecological and social standards and the transparency along the entire value chain.
