WE ARE ZRCL
“In future, it will be increasingly important to know where and in which conditions cotton is grown, and how our every-day pieces of clothing are produced.”
Kilian Wiget,
Founder and owner of ZRCL, a Swiss streetwear label.
“In Remei, I have found a partner practising and representing ZRCL’s values to the full.
It is a label that my brand can rely on. I appreciate our professional co-operation with this label supplying organic cotton, supporting the development process, and complying with ecological and social standards.
Owing to full transparency along the value chain, ZRCL (which stands for ‘circle’) is enabled to launch products that provide consumers with considerably more information on organic cotton and the production cycle than a certificate or a ‘made in’ would do. In future, it will be increasingly important to know where and in which conditions cotton is grown, and how our every-day pieces of clothing are produced. While workers have a right to fair and regular working conditions, our world has a right to careful and sustainable use of nature and resources.
It gives me pleasure to regularly use the Traceability Tool as a means of communicating transparency at ZRCL. My customers (end users and specialist shops) appreciate simple and easy-to-understand presentation, and are amazed time and again at how much it takes to make a piece of clothing.
With ZRCL, I’m pursuing consistent implementation of various aspects of sustainability, from products and the bioRe values right through to my private life. ZRCL wants to be a role model conveying knowledge and inspiring people to take action. As a small start-up (still), I appreciate being close to consumers, and I’m always fascinated with their interest in, and response to, ZRCL’s story. My customers like our consistency and creditworthiness.
My visit to bioRe® India Ltd. was and continues to be one of the highlights in the history of ZRCL. I witnessed how organic cotton is grown, how respectful workers are treated, and what efforts bioRe® is making to continue to evolve and face up to the prevailing invasion of genetic engineering. I was and still am deeply impressed and fascinated with the country and its culture.”
